Here are frequently asked questions.
What are your therapy Fees?
Our fees are range from $50-$150 depending on service type and duration (we offer very reduced rates if you chose to work with one of our qualified therapy interns under clinical supervision).
For new clients, you must secure your time slot with a credit card to ensure that we see you right away. We accept cash, debit cards, and all major credit cards (No Checks!).
Do you accept insurance payments?
Yes! Some of our clinicians accept insurance for therapy (not for coaching). Other therapists (interns and not fully licensed therapists) offer affordable fees to meet your needs.
Here is a list of health plans accepted below:
Blue Cross Blue Shield
You should contact your insurance plan to determine your behavioral health coverage. Keep in mind that you are responsible for the fee at the time our your appointment if you are not covered by insurance.
Do you work with Employee Assistance Programs?
We accept several EAP's including, Morneau Sheppell, Matrix Psychological, EAP Works, Cigna EAP and more. Let us know which one your employer offers and we will determine if we are on their panel.
When can we get started?
Before you schedule an appointment, let's schedule a phone consultation to make sure we are the right fit for one another. When both of us feel we are a good fit, we can schedule your first session!
Do you offer live video, online or telemental health?
Yes, some of us do (But check with your selected therapist to be sure she offers this service). As long as you have a cell phone, tablet or computer and live in the state of Georgia or Utah (where some of us are licensed), we can get started with our telemental health sessions . When it is assessed that telemental health is the right treatment choice, we can begin!
Starting in January 2018, telemental health sessions are available on selected days. All coaching services are online through video conferencing. Here is our link
I really want therapy, but cannot afford it?
Everyone should have access to mental health treatment. we offer a sliding scale fee to a few beautiful souls each year that may be in a 'tight' situation. Just ask if you are eligible and if so, you may be asked to provide supporting information about your need for a sliding scale. When your situation improves or when we do periodic reassessments, you will begin paying the full fee of service so that another person can benefit from the few slots offered annually.
This is our way of giving back to the community!
